Lesotho Tours and Activities

A full day tour of the legendary Sani Pass. Once a donkey trail and later a gruelling 4x4 mountain pass, today this is a must-see tourist attraction for a quick introduction to the Basotho way of life in the Eastern Highlands of Lesotho.

Spend the day visiting a mountain fortress, Qiloane (Basotho Hat) Mountain, the Rural Royal Palace, and Morija Museum. Check out some fossilised dinosaur footprints and try your hand at pony trekking.

Dinosaur footprints, Royal Palace, Katse and Mohale Dam, as well as Semonkong's world record abseil, and many optional excursions such as community based donkey riding tours, and Basotho pony rides, with traditional performances to learn about the Basotho culture.

Travel the well known Sani Pass, overnight at the Sani Top Chalet, "the highest pub in Africa"; visit the village of Skierring, with an opportunity to walk along the Escarpment, or summit Hodgsons Peak.
