The Thorn family has been at the Trading Post since 1903 and has been involved in the guesthouse business since 1998. There is always a welcoming family or staff member to make you feel at home.The manager of Ramabanta always tries to support the local community by purchasing produce from local farmers whenever there are vegetables and fruits in season. She cans the berries and peaches as jams and syrup. She also invites a local dance group for regular performances.
