Travel from Underberg up the world famous Sani Pass stopping at view and historical sites en route. After a brief stop at Sani Top Chalet, travel on to summit Black Mountain Pass and you will be able to view Thabana Ntlenyana - the highest Peak in Southern Africa after a short walk. Continue on down Sehonghong Valley to 10 Riverside for an afternoon of Basotho Culture. After dinner continue on to St James Lodge for your overnight.
The next Morning, depart from St James after a visit to the St James Church, with its painted ceiling and head for what was once the remotest post in the British Empire, then walk down the main street of this remote rural Basotho town for a true African feel.
Return up Sehonghong Valley to Sani Top for lunch before heading down the Sani Pass to Underberg.
